Homemade brown sugar coffee creamer is rich, cozy, and the easiest way to elevate your morning cuppa. Made with simple ingredients, this homemade creamer takes just 5 minutes or less to prepare. Enjoy with coffee, drizzled over French toast, or poured over sourdough Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, stir together the heavy cream and milk.
1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup milk
Add the brown sugar and whisk until it has thoroughly dissolved, about 1-2 minutes.
1/2 cup brown sugar
Pour in the vanilla and a pinch of salt. Stir to combine. At this point, I recommend tasting the creamer and making any adjustments to the flavor you prefer.
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
Transfer the creamer to a mason jar with a tight-fitting lid and store it in the fridge.
Notes
The shelf life of your brown sugar coffee creamer in the fridge depends on your milk and cream's expiration dates. Take note of when they expire.
It's normal for the cream to sit ontop after stirring. Shake or stir your creamer before each use to mix it again.
Label and date the jar to show when you made it and when the milk and cream expire.
I recommend storing your creamer in a jar or other container that you can easily pour from.
